Patricia Tennyson oversees community and government relations, communication, and public affairs strategies for the firm. She also facilitates community advisory panels, environmental scoping meetings, public meetings and strategic planning workshops.
Patricia has provided strategic counsel, facilitated public working committees and workshops, and designed presentations for policy-makers and the community on a variety of technical issues. These issues include water and wastewater, recycled water and potable reuse, airport planning and education, rate increases and environmental issues. She has completed facilitation training coursework at Interaction Associates and coursework in resolving public policy conflicts at CDR Associates. Patricia has assisted a variety of public agencies to develop and implement public outreach and involvement strategies, as well as moderated NEPA and CEQA scoping meetings and public hearings. She has a B.A. in social science, M.S. in public administration and M.S in library science.
With over 30 years’ experience in the water industry, Patricia is also very active in water associations. She was the former chair of the American Water Works Association’s Public Affairs Council, and is now a member of AWWA’s Technical and Educational Council. She is a member of the Board of Trustees for WateReuse California and is also a member of the Water Environment Federation.
