Tania Fragomeno has been with the firm for more than 15 years and provides strategic counsel for public involvement programs on high-profile, controversial projects throughout the U.S. and abroad for local, state and federal initiatives. She specializes in developing public outreach strategies and programs for environmental planning and infrastructure projects in the military, transportation, development and energy industries.
Some of her main contributions to clients is developing communication strategies founded in best practices and principles for identifying stakeholders and their areas of interest, developing messaging and best methods of outreach and engagement, and ensuring that project teams are prepared for interacting with the public and responding to their concerns. As an extension of technical teams, Tania brings specialized knowledge and experience in developing informational materials that present complex and technical information in an easy-to-understand way, including overseeing the translation and interpretation of materials into multiple languages.
In addition to project work, Tania is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers and serves on the board of Downtown San Diego’s Cortez Hill neighborhood. Tania is trained in public participation planning, techniques and communication by the International Association for Public Participation and is a graduate of the Crestcom Leadership program and San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce LEAD Advance program – a program dedicated to elevating women in the workplace.
