Tania Fragomeno has been with the firm for more than 13 years and provides strategic counsel for public involvement programs on high-profile, controversial projects throughout the U.S. and abroad. She specializes in community outreach and communication for projects involving environmental cleanup, health risks and regulatory compliance, such as the National Environmental Policy Act and the California Environmental Quality Act. Throughout her tenure at Katz & Associates, Tania has worked in all aspects of our practice areas, including construction outreach for transportation projects and our water projects. Tania has also worked on site with our clients, most notably a two-year assignment with the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Center in Portsmouth, Virginia.
In addition to project work, Tania is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers and an on-call public information officer for the American Red Cross San Diego/Imperial Counties Chapter. She serves on the board of Downtown San Diego’s Cortez Hill neighborhood and served on the board of Health Care Communicators of San Diego County. Tania is certified in public participation planning, techniques and communication by the International Association for Public Participation and is a graduate of the Crestcom Leadership program.
