Caltrain Peninsula Corridor Electrification

Caltrain is in the process of electrifying and upgrading the performance, operating efficiency, capacity, safety and reliability of its 51-mile service area spanning 3 counties and 17 cities along the Bay Area Peninsula from San Francisco to San Jose. As part of the project, K&A performs all community outreach and construction relations activities along the project corridor, which includes door-to-door canvassing, planning and executing public meetings, and developing and distributing project collateral such as door hangers, flyers and fact sheets.

The K&A team also oversaw the development of and produced content for the dedicated project website, developed and disseminated customized email notifications to project stakeholders, designed project collateral and made presentations to various city councils and planning groups.

Project completion remains on track for 2020 with full service expected in 2022.
