Over the last several years, Carpinteria Valley Water District, together with its partner agencies, has conducted extensive analyses of opportunities to maximize the beneficial use of recycled water resources. The District is currently exploring a potential groundwater replenishment effort that injects purified recycled water into the groundwater basin, creating a locally-controlled, drought-resistant, drinking water supply.
K&A leads an interactive stakeholder engagement process. This includes interviews with key stakeholders, strategic communication and outreach planning and implementation. We are currently providing support for the CEQA process for the project and will be involved in implementation of the communication strategy following CEQA.
The K&A creative team led the development process for a dedicated project brand and identity system. The final brand was then applied to a large suite of project collateral materials that includes fact sheets, flyers, large format posters, infographics, and a dedicated project logo. The team also developed a project website using the project brand to help facilitate consistent and timely communication to project stakeholders and the greater community.
